Obesity is Prematurely Aging People’s Joints

Obesity is so damaging to the joints that experts say most people have knees, hips, and ankles that are five to ten years “older” than they are. The study asked 13,000 people to report information about their lifestyle to a joint age calculator operated by a supplement maker. The calculator also revealed that many overweight young adults have joints that may feel older than the joints of their parents or grandparents.
