Study Finds Hopeful People Eat Better

Most of us strive for happiness. But when it comes to trying to eat well, maybe we need to settle on just feeling hopeful. A new study finds that people who are hopeful choose healthier foods than those who are happy. How can this be? Im no scientist, but when Im in a good mood I tend to want to do good—for my body, my mind, and everyone I meet on the street. Either my symptoms are atypical, or Im just not paying attention.

Bullhead is a species of catfish found through out the United States. They are a smaller species of catfish averaging 2 lbs. but can grow as large as 10 lbs.. It is a bottom-feeding species and has a tendency to pick up a muddy or gritty taste. There is a way to counter this using a simple overnight marinade.

Feel the burn to feel good, say scientists

Exercising so hard that you “feel the burn” in your muscles is not only good for the body but also the mind, say scientists.

Vigorous exercise helps boost mood but moderate exercise does not, they found.

Researchers drew their conclusions after studying 11 people, who were asked to take part in two 20-minute long work-outs, one moderately intensive and one highly intensive.

The mood of the participants was measured before, during, immediately after and 20 minutes after each work out.

They found volunteers exhibited no mood improvements after moderate exercise.
